The vultures of the venomous left

Tuesday, September 6th, 2005

Wes Pruden, on today’s WT editorial page nicely sums up my outrage over the partisan opportunism on display this past week: Not much traction with the abuse.

The vultures of the venomous left are attacking on two fronts, first that the president didn’t do what the incompetent mayor of New Orleans and the pouty governor of Louisiana should have done, and didn’t, in the early hours after Katrina loosed the deluge on the city that care and good judgment forgot.

Venomous left wing vultures, indeed. Just when it seems they cannot reach any lower, disgracing and disparaging dead and wounded soldiers in attempts to damage Bush politically, they go below sea level, so to speak.

It would be too pathetic to be outraged over, if there wasn’t a real possibility these same people might one day regain political power in the Federal government.
